A Little Bit in Love (appropriately)

An old student came to see me today after school. We chatted for a few minutes about second grade and how things are going and all that stuff. Then he quickly handed me the following on his way out the door -I love getting presents (I think I've talked about this before) and I especially love getting random boxes from seven year old kids because you never know what is going to be inside. First I opened the note
I think its supposed to be me. I'm loving the hearts in my eyes. I opened the box to find this -Yep, a red vine and a candy stick made to fit in the box. LOVE it. Seriously. (I don't caps lock many things. That's how much I love it.) But now for my favorite part. The note in the box.

(dear Ms. Sorenson you are the best best! Teacher I had. You are my best best friend. you are the best best! friend I had in the world. I really enjoyed your teaching and your smile.)

This is quite possibly one of my favorite notes ever. From any boy really. Boys take note - girls like to be told they are the best best! And the line about enjoying my smile? Good stuff. Hearts in my eyes for sure.

  1. That is one of the most adorable things I've seen in a long time. Seriously. At this rate, that kid is going to grow up to be amazing. Bless him.

  3. That is super cute and so hilarious. I dare to say he is in love love since you are the best best. If they were only all like second graders with a teacher crush. They grown up to be men that don't remember how to do that.
