I love picture day. Not only do they not have to wear uniform - they come to school dressed in their best and with their best hair. I feel like I get a good sense of who my kids really are (or who their parents think they are) on this day. Here are some of my favorite looks from today.
Mohawks/fohawks are big this year.

When this little girl walked in I noticed her dress. I was impressed that she had dressed up so much. Then I saw her pants. Awesome. Most girls go with tights. She went with pajama bottoms.

When this little boy walked in all the kids started shouting "Brady looks fancy!! Brady looks fancy!!" And he does. His mom told him he could take his vest and tie off after pictures. He wore this all day long because he loved the look so much.

This is hands down my favorite outfit. Be sure to check out his shoes in the next picture. To complete the look this kid has caps on his top four front teeth so it sort of looks like a grill. That's right - bling. Awesome.

My favorite part of this outfit is his shoes. Those are not boots my friends. Those are lace up loafers. Very grown up.

I had my picture taken as well. I never know what to do with the packet of pictures I get so let me know if you want one. I'll even sign it for you and maybe put my phone number on the back and everything.
Remember when class pictures looked like this? Bonus points for anyone who can find me (2nd grade).
Picture day is one thing I definitely don't miss about school. Somehow every year I messed my hair up before pictures and I looked like I didn't have parents who loved me enough to do my hair.
ReplyDeleteOkay, after Steph's comment I have a new resolution to go buy the new wave/tube curling iron thing that is big around here for Brittany on picture day. She always ends up with too tight curler curls. I have to say I love the pajama bottom girl myself. Hey, they didn't spring for color photos in Price?
ReplyDeleteWE need a picture for our fridge.
ReplyDeleteOf course we had color photos in Price - just not in yearbooks. Atleast that's the way I remember it.
ReplyDeleteRhett - you guys can have the first one.
You're right there next to Janice Metelko. What do I win for knowing that??
