A pot calling the kettle black

Kid one (the pot)- First grader. Goes to speech once a week. We'll call him "Bwady."
Kid two (the kettle)- Kindergartner. Looks and sounds (and converses) like the little kid in Jerry Maguire. Except this kid stutters. A lot. (He's so cute and I smile the whole time he's in my room.)

Conversation overheard:

Kid two (sharing the playdough animal he had made in afterschool): "This this is this is my my my - it's going to to to trick you...a - a - a - any guesses? It's it's it's my ghost!" (so I'm guessing he didn't understand the assignment?)
Kid one - (while laughing) "You've dot to be tidding me!"

Apparently empathy doesn't come from sharing an affliction.
