Two Favorite Conversations

Ms Sorenson:  J, I need you to hurry out today.  I'm in a hurry.  I need to leave right after school.
J:  Why?
Ms Sorenson:  I need to get home.
J:  What?  You need to get home to your mom?  (Totally said in the "Your mom _____" sort of voice)
Ms Sorenson:  My mom?  You know I don't live with my mom.
J:  Well, then you should probably get a boyfriend.
MS:  If you know where I find one of those just tell me.
J:  Texas.
MS:  Texas?  Really?
J:  Yeah.  Well... maybe.  Yeah, probably Texas or the Philippines.

Looks like its time to plan a vacation....

One morning we were using whiteboards for spelling.  T kept erasing her whiteboard with her hand.  I kept asking her to stop.  (Before you think I'm just a control freak - when they erase with their fingers it gets oils/dirt on the whiteboards and after awhile it gets harder and harder to erase them.  Drives me crazy).

MS:  T, if you keep erasing the board with your hand I am going to take it away.
L:  (lip smack) What?  What you gonna do?  Cut it off?

Made my day.  I laughed all day about it.

It's so hard to get back into the habit of blogging.  I'm trying though!
